About Us
Based in New York, Anderson Green Events works primarily in
New York City, The Hamptons, Philadelphia, Westchester and Connecticut. We will happily travel nationally and internationally.
We provide full service planning, hourly consulting, and a la carte services, all customized and tailored for your event needs. We pride ourselves on our high levels of dedication, professionalism and the fresh perspective we bring to each event.
We view events and event planning as a collaborative effort with our clients. During our initial consultation, we strive to understand your vision as well as truly to learn what you want for you event. We then aim to go above and beyond your vision. Our approach is to create and manage events that are sophisticated, personal and perfect through meticulous planning and coordination. Our array of planning services allows you to fully enjoy your event knowing that every detail has been accounted for.
Our founder, Lisa, has previous experience working for a top level New York City event planning firm, where she planned high end weddings and social events as well as managed their day-to-day office. She also has freelance planning experience with several global non-profit and corporate organizations. Previously, she worked in Investor Relations for a hedge fund and at Sotheby’s Auction House where she worked exclusively with high net worth clients. Lisa’s enthusiasm and passion is evident in her commitment to working with our clients to produce very personal events.
Lisa lives in Manhattan with her husband and French Bulldog puppy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in Art History.
Rachel Katz, a Senior Planner, previously worked for several Non Profits in New York. Her expertise lies in Social and Corporate event planning – where she combines her calm demeanor with a passion for creating events that are truly one of a kind. Her event planning career began in college where she was the Director of Special Events for the Student Events committee – planning concerts to theme parties for the entire student body.
Rachel resides in Manhattan, where she enjoys visiting Broadway shows and trying new restaurants. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in American Studies with minors in Journalism and Philosophy.
